Cancer Research UK: Clinical Research Survey

20.07.23

Working in UK clinical research - cancer or otherwise? If so, Cancer Research UK’s Policy team wants to hear from you. Please complete their survey.

As a major funder of UK research, Cancer Research UK (CRUK) has a strong interest in ensuring that UK clinical studies have the conditions to thrive. To help achieve this, our Policy team works in partnership with expert teams across the organisation, researchers, and patients to try and raise the profile of clinical research within Government.

CRUK’s Policy team is currently running a short survey (approx. 10 minutes) to understand the experience and views of those involved in supporting and/or delivering clinical research in the UK. To maximise the impact and relevance of the findings, they want to hear from health service staff, operational staff, and research support staff who work across all specialties, i.e., not just cancer. As such, as well as completing, please also pass on the survey to anyone who might be interested.

Your insights and feedback will be key to informing future conversations that Cancer Research UK has with political decision-makers and civil servants in the UK Government and devolved administrations. The findings will also shape the calls in their upcoming Manifesto for Cancer Research and Care which will be published later this year to inform key policy debates leading into the next general election.

Among other things, they want to understand more about:

  • The issues and research barriers you believe the Government needs to hear about most.
  • How it’s felt working in clinical research during the UK’s recovery from the pandemic.
  • If and how your ability to deliver and/or support high-quality research is being impacted.

The link to the survey will close on August 9th. Thank you in advance for your support.
