About this talk

The UK is becoming a faster, more predictable, and higher-performing environment for global clinical research. Following landmark updates to the UK Clinical Trials regulations in April 2026, participant engagement is no longer just best practice, it is a legal requirement.

Among these updates are mandates for transparency; sponsors are now legally required to register trials publicly, publish a summary of results within 12 months, and provide easy-to-understand lay summaries to participants.

In this webinar, Dave Dunton from our Patient Engagement in Clinical Development (PECD) service will lead a discussion around compliance and explore how you can turn these new regulatory requirements into a commercial advantage. Hear how we’ve already helped lots of commercial sponsors to ‘stress test’ patient-facing documents, gather insights from focus groups, connect with national networks of volunteers and charities, and embed meaningful patient feedback into processes. Companies of all sizes have used the service to gain new perspectives, explore their priorities against patient needs, and find the value in engaging with participants at different stages of clinical development.
