The NIHR Mentoring Programme supports all health and care professions. You can benefit from 1-2-1 support for your career development, including time for personal growth and reflection. Both mentees and mentors gain new perspectives, fresh ideas and expand their professional networks.
Our mentoring programme:
- supports interdisciplinary collaboration, as your mentor can be from a different discipline or professional background
- builds relationships, as mentoring relationships are between individuals from different organisations
- provides you with resources and access to professional development events, which support and guide your mentoring relationships
- promotes equality, inclusion and diversity through engagement with and learning from under-represented groups
